In 2002 Helgason translated the play by Shakespeare for the young and fresh theatre company Vesturport. The production, directed by Gísli Örn Garðarsson, was premiered on the small stage at Reykjavik City Theatre and ran there for a year but then went on to travel the world for 10 years. Over 400 performances later it came back to Reykjavik and was then shown on the big stage at Reykjavik City Theatre.
